They are amazing with kids. The time they put into these kids is unmatched. The personal one on one time to interact and instruct is top tier. My family loves this place.

My daughter started attending FFLA at just 5.5 years old after loving to rough house with her dad and keep up with the big kids. I called around to many gyms hoping someone would give her a chance, and Coach D was the one who said yes and took the time to work with her one on one. That decision changed everything for her! And us as a family! Over the years, this gym has become so much more than a place to box. The confidence, discipline, and sense of family she’s gained here is incredible! Coach D meets every kid where they are, pushes them, believes in them, and truly pours into them. He’s not just a coach… he’s a mentor!! Now 3.5 years later WE STILL LOVE THE GYM!! My daughter is even interested in fighting (which definitely scares me 😅), but I trust him completely and that says everything!! We are beyond grateful for this gym and everything it’s given my daughter and our family! 🤍🥊

My 9 year old son has been training at FFLA for a year and a half. He is in the kid's classes that go twice a week and has some private lesson experience as well. A direct quote from him, "Coach always pushes us to do our best." He's right, Coach D brings out the best in people no matter who they are or their skill level. The foundation he builds in the kid's classes is the same as he does with his older groups. He has the skill and experience to back up everything he teaches. If you're looking to learn to box or get into great shape this is the place to be, and you'll be treated like family right from the start.
