So me and my friends went to Lashley's for just a little over a year, and to be honest i was never a huge fan of the place. Between the lack of AC, the lack of any sort of water fountain, the smell and the outrageous monthly cost I just didn't like the place, but I stuck it out to support a local business. Ian Lashley started showing his true colors when he decided to buy cheap, low quality home equipment. But I continued to go there despite all this until one day without warning me and my brother were suspended from the gym for "profanity and dress code violation." I have never once been asked by any staff to not wear something or to watch my language, not to mention I've heard every staff member use profanity INCLUDING Ian himself. And to really put the cherry on top I just want to say that the only trainer at this gym who ever even bothered to be friendly to me and my friends was Mikayla, she is wonderful and deserves to work at a better gym. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed, do better Ian.
We joined at the beginning of the year, mainly so the kids can do karate and we have really enjoyed our experience so far. We work out while the kids do their classes. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are always clean. Everyone who works out here seems to be really friendly and just kind of does their own stuff. It's a large facility, and so it's not ever been super crazy busy in the times that I have gone. I do like that it's 24 hours so my husband can go, even with his odd hours.
I love this place I wish it was a little bit bigger that's the only complaint I have with it. But overall it's got decent equipment and it's a 24-hour gym Update....The gym got bigger now with a dojo and New equipment!
My favorite place to work out. The staff are personally invested in your success. And all of them have become an important part of my support system.
