After careful consideration and research, I cannot recommend this establishment or it’s members.
All the talk of family, and top notch instruction, and amazing facility with more bells and whistles than a brand new Corvette, but nobody is talking about how FUN this place is. Very welcoming coaches and students, taking care not to hurt me when they are obviously more than capable. Very respectful. Instruction that cannot be beat. If youre struggling with a position or technique, the coaches go hands on, and walk you through the problem. No flashy tiktok nonsense, just raw fundamental jiu jitsu..... The most amazingly well appointed gym i have ever seen. Enough mat space for dozens of pairs to grapple at once. Pads, gloves, a flippin sauna... an MMA cage, crash pads, yoga balls, bags, a nice sound system for music.. areas for kids, areas for visitors to watch, areas for private lessons, and smaller classes... I mean they got it all. Now to the main topic.... FUN. I had about a year experience when i started here at Alpha, so i knew BJJ was alot of fun, but i had no idea it could be THIS fun. Dont get it twisted, it is HARD. You will get sore. you will feel like you got whooped, but as long as you keep coming back, that fades into strength, endurance, flexibility, and knowledge. You know what they say.... "Pain is fear leaving the body", right?? As soon as you start learning BJJ, you realize it is Chess, with the human body, and WAAAAAAAY more fun. When you learn BJJ in a safe, comfortable environment, it makes it easier to remember, easier to ask questions, easier to let your guard down and let the process happen, and easier to have fun... Stopped in for a training session while traveling for work. They were super friendly with a really easy check in for guests. Derek ran a great situational class and the members were friendly and very good training partners. I would be excited to train here again.

This gym was the best thing that could’ve happened to my husband and I. We didn’t have much experience leading into BJJ, and we spent a few years here. I couldn’t be happier we had found this place. We were devastated to leave. We can’t wait to come back someday.
