Putting my boys into Jiu Jitsu with Coach Juan was the best decision I have ever made. Coach is the perfect blend of hard working and kind. This gym has become home for my sons and they are learning a love of the sport. Thank you to Coach Juan and all his assistant coaches for building strength, perseverance and love of the sport into my sons. I highly recommend RDGA! 10⭐
Thank you so much! We love your family.
I've seen my girls grow in confidence, athletic ability and self control since starting jiu jitsu. Coach Juan is patient with the students but holds his standards and the kids love to rise to it. There is a strong sense of community and support throughout the whole gym. The kids encourage each other, and always so welcoming. I cannot recommend this place more highly.
Thank you guys so much for being such a positive part of our gym. We truly love having you all be a part of what we are trying to build🙏
My 2 young boys love getting to wrestle without mom & dad telling them to stop. I think they were smiling even while running during warm ups for the first two months we were going. Coach Juan does a great job of balancing being encouraging, not allowing the kids to be a distraction but allowing them to be kids. There lots of short lessons with practice in between which helps the kids stay on task. There are extra coaches to ensure everyone gets one on one instruction. The gym is kept very clean with someone wiping down the mats in between every class and everyone wiping their feet before going on mat. Bottom line, RDGA is highly recommended for kids.
Thank you so much! Much appreciated
This gym has literally changed my son’s life. With amazing coaching and an atmosphere to thrive he has gained confidence he has never had before. He has lost weight, gained strength and made some pretty amazing friends. If you are interested in learning a new skill or continuing to grow in a welcoming environment that teaches and demands respect to all, I highly recommend RDGA.
We appreciate the review! And more importantly, we appreciate you guys! Thank you so much.
My six and five year olds are enrolled in class 3x/week and these lessons are a perfect fit. Coach Juan is a gift! He is patient with the kids. He sets and maintains expectations with them. He’s willing to take time if a student needs a little more than the rest, while managing keep the others occupied. One of my kids is really not comfortable with formalities (ceremonial bowing/utterances, being used for demonstrations). I have never once seen Coach present a child for illustration—he always makes an example of himself or with a working assistant. No noises are necessary. Bows onto and off the mat are definitively laidback. Corrections to technique are not broadcasted to the whole class and are very respectful. All things that I find incredibly impressive when you’re dealing with a full class of 5-7 year olds of varying ability and attention span! Issues that mattered to me, the parent: cleanliness/hygiene here is TOP NOTCH (military background of the owner shows), classes are easy to sign up for/schedule around and the value feels like robbery. Literally, there are only two “downsides” to this place. You’re going to want to watch the lessons like all the other parents and standing with your nose to the window may be your option if you don’t get a seat early. ;););) Aaaaaand, you are going to want to sign yourself up!
Thank you for the review. I am very thankful!
