Avid student of Tom's Youtube tutorials since 2022. Don't get me wrong: I have good in-person teachers, I've been attending a boxing gym in Brazil in a daily basis for more than 3 years - but still, Tom and Danny are responsible for great part of my boxing skills. No better school than old school, and no better place to learn it, in person or Internet. If I ever go to Pennsylvania, I'll certainly visit Ambridge and WCB to say my thanks.
Tom Yankello understands the sweet science as well as any of the all-time great coaches (Emmanuel Steward, Cus D'Amato, Angelo Dundee, Ray Arcel, Roger & Floyd Mayweather(Sr.) etc.). Just studied his work online, and it's helped me aquire sound fundamentals in boxing. It would be an honor to train with him and his team someday.
I’m an Italian amateur boxer, and until two years ago I didn’t know who Coach Yankello was. Thanks to Facebook and Instagram, I discovered his videos and started following his content. I even created a folder called “Boxing with Yankello,” where I save all his most interesting lessons. The result? My boxing has improved enormously thanks to his teaching. Just yesterday, during sparring at my gym, I decided to box going backwards the entire session. Everyone was impressed with my technique. What they didn’t know is that I learned some secrets of boxing backwards directly from Coach Yankello’s videos. Coach Yankello, you don’t know me, but I really feel I know you. I’m planning to purchase one of your online courses, and more than that, I genuinely hope to visit your gym in person one day. Thank you for your incredible contribution to this amazing sport!
I live in a small town and have kickboxed all my life. The nearest boxing centre is 400 kilometres away. I’ve purchased many of the videos from Tom Yankello and I can now understand how to box properly. It has helped my sparring and love for the sport immensely. Tom is very special.
I flew all the way across the country to train with coach yankello (shouts to andrew and Tommy and the whole team) and they welcomed me in like I was one of the guys. The world class boxing gym is truly a church of boxing and Tom and his team of coaches truly believe in TEACHING the ART of boxing. It’s not gym class. It’s not flashy mitt work. It’s the art of hitting and not getting hit with perfect leverage and technique. Can’t wait to train with him again. For now I have to settle for the videos!
