High Voltage is an excellent gym. I've been doing their Muay Thai and boxing classes for several months now and really enjoy them. The atmosphere is safe and welcoming; as other reviews have said, when you're here, you're treated like family. The coaches are friendly and knowledgeable and will help you build your skills, whether you are a beginner or have prior experience. I have been training in Muay Thai since 2020, and since I started training here in March, my skills have vastly improved. The gym itself is clean, with well-maintained equipment. They have a variety of machines, free weights, and even a rock-climbing wall. Whether you're looking to do martial arts or just want a good gym to work out in, I really recommend High Voltage.
Coach Dan’s Muay Thai and kick boxing class at High Voltage gym has been a fantastic place for my son, fostering not only his skills in martial arts but also his confidence and discipline. The caring and expert team, led by Coach Dan, ensures a safe and inclusive environment, making every session a valuable experience for young and adult learners
This gym is like a family. Coach says it best: "everyone walks in here with the same amount of respect". From my first boxing class the instructors and members treated me like a brother. If you want to get into martial arts or training, there is no better place I can think of.
Stopped in here a few weeks ago and talked to pops. He really has an awesome set up here and everyone was super friendly. I could talk to that guy for hours. They also have a really impressive array of weights and workout equipment. A lot of people don't realize it, but that leg press they have is a rare French model that lets you work each leg individually. So that way you can simulate running with weights or doing alternating leg workouts if you're inclined to do it. Checking around like 4 different gyms, this is the only one that has piece of equipment alone. That thing is probably seriously several thousand dollars. Pops gave me a guided tour and honestly I really got along with him really well. He also has a pretty high number of fights under his belt, which is very good in an instructor. I wound up hitting the bag and hanging out with a bunch of the fighters there. It's a really chill group. Quite a few actually compete and you can tell many of them know what they're doing. We hit some bags together and talked techniques. Those guys definitely know what they're doing. I would have just made this my home gym, but ended up going with a different gym because 1) it's closer and 2) High Voltage is only open for BJJ on Sunday. So if your workout program starts on a Sunday, you're either going to have to adjust it or not go here. I might wind up caving in and going here just for martial arts and lifting at a different gym. i know I said this already, but that leg press machine is sick. You really have to check that out.
I took Muay Thai here for many Months and I really had a great experienced because my instructor "Phil" will teach you the way of Muay Thai through demonstrations and sparring.he will make you a better Muay Thai fighter every day when you're competing or if you're just trying to stay in shape. Family friendly gym!!
