Strong Coach, Unreliable Business The Good This trainer brings serious expertise to the gym. He has fought in multiple professional fights and has a decade plus of coaching experience, and that depth shows immediately in how he trains. He’s direct, doesn’t sugarcoat your mistakes, and won’t move you to the next technique until you’ve proved you understand the current one. That kind of seriousness is hard to find and worth acknowledging. If you’re looking to actually learn boxing, the instruction itself is excellent. The Bad The business around the training is another story. There are no contracts, no intake paperwork, and no formal documentation of any kind. Payment is collected informally by tapping your card to his phone. At $200/month the price point is fair, but what you actually get for that money has varied since my membership started at the beginning of the year. Scheduling runs through Instagram Stories and DMs. Hours are posted to his story the morning of, and you’re expected to DM to confirm availability. The hours posted on the website do not reflect the actual availability. There are no set hours, no booking system, and no formal structure. That puts the burden entirely on the client in a way that isn’t typical of most gyms. Early on, the trainer was punctual and the posted hours were reliable. Over time, cancellations and last-minute reschedules became more frequent, and even the hours on the morning story posts stopped being reliable. DMs sometimes have gone unanswered altogether, making it impossible to book time at all. With no formal system in place, there’s no mechanism to resolve that when it happens. The Bottom Line The training quality is legitimate, but walk in knowing exactly what the arrangement looks like. There’s no formal agreement protecting either party, and the reliability you experience may not be consistent. I don’t know whether the scheduling issues are isolated or part of a broader pattern, but the lack of formal structure means you have no recourse if you run into the same problems. Do your due diligence before committing.

Amazing Boxing Gym. CC has such great energy, always pushing you to do better. Working out at ClarkFit is also fun, and a good time.

ClarkFit is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to. The energy in this place is unreal. You walk in and immediately feel like you’re part of something bigger — a community that’s pushing to be better every single day. The workouts are intense but never overwhelming, and you actually learn real boxing. It’s not just cardio and bag work — you’re being coached the right way. C.C. is the real deal. His passion is obvious from the second you meet him. He knows how to push you, but also how to keep it fun and motivating. You can tell he cares about everyone who trains here. Whether it’s your first time throwing a punch or you’ve been training for years, he’s got you. The location in Market Square is perfect, the gym is clean, and the vibe is always positive. I’ve gotten stronger, more confident, and honestly just feel better every day because of this place. If you’re even thinking about getting into boxing or just want a killer workout — go check it out.

Lost 20 lbs working with CC the owner doing classes and personal training. Great motivator and just good vibes in the gym. Learned how to box while getting a killer workout. Highly recommend to anyone!

My first impression of Clarkfit was a good one, Mr. Clark was friendly and knowledgeable. As well as friendly patrons there. This is not a 'snobby" gym, very comfortable place. Glad I chose Clarkfit.
