As a professional instructor in dog training, you learn to identify other good instructors in other professions because they know how to meet you where you’re at, take a complex sequence, break it down to the simplest component parts and then back chain them together … and Marquis is that fantastic instructor!!! For example, I was really struggling with my leg and calf kicks. I had two other qualified people who were really good at these kicks show me but I still struggled. Then Marquis broke it down for me like I mentioned above. In less than 15 minutes… my technique, power, stability, follow through all while keeping my guard in place were completely transformed! I was blown away with how much he accomplished with me in such a short amount of time! Give Marquis and evolution combat a shot, you won’t be disappointed!
Evolution Combat has been a great experience for my family. It is a professional atmosphere yet feels very personal. Questions are encouraged and met with patience. Sifu Marquis is great at making sure his students understand how everything flows together in a real world setting and not just a series of moves. This is the best kept secret in town

Coach Marquis is all around an amazing person on and off the mat. He’s extremely patient and he communicates clearly and encourages you. He’s very beginner friendly and has no problem breaking down everything step by step for you. Highly recommend.
