I reached out to Clay through the website about dropping in the day before, and he was super responsive and welcoming. He went over the house rules ahead of time and made everything easy. When I showed up, Clay and Adrianna greeted me and gave me a quick tour. The facility was clean, organized, and clearly well taken care of. The class was great and really informative. Clay checked in on me throughout to make sure everything made sense and that I was good as a visitor. Everyone was friendly and respectful, and the rolls were tough in the best way, which I definitely appreciated. Top notch academy. I will for sure be dropping in again anytime I am in town.

Coach Clay and the entire coaching staff at Triangle are outstanding. They create a incredibly friendly and welcoming environment for athletes of all skill levels. The gym fosters a strong sense of community, support, and networking, where everyone is genuinely willing to help one another on and off the mats.

I visited Triangle Jiu Jitsu Academy in Franklin, TN while traveling, and it’s easily one of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms in the Nashville/Franklin area. Coach Clay taught the class and did an incredible job breaking down technique with clear, detailed instruction. Instructor Owen ran warm-ups and was great to interact with — friendly, technical, and welcoming. What stood out right away was the atmosphere. The team here has amazing fundamentals, offers safe and high-level training, and shows the kind of Southern hospitality that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The facility is clean, well-run, and perfect for anyone looking for BJJ classes in Franklin TN or jiu jitsu near Nashville. With so many people relocating to Williamson County, I’ll say this honestly: if I ever moved to the Franklin/Nashville area, this is the jiu-jitsu academy I would train at. Whether you’re brand new to BJJ, looking for advanced instruction, or searching for a great place to drop in for jiu jitsu while visiting Nashville, Triangle Jiu Jitsu Academy is a phenomenal choice. Started coming here during a family promo month as my brother has been going for a while now; as a woman with no experience in this area it was pretty intimidating. Every group session I’ve had though has been truly great & empowering! The coaches & other members have never once made me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, everybody there has been welcoming & supportive through this new journey of mine! I officially signed up to keep going back & I’m excited to spend more time with Triangle Academy :)
