As a lifelong martial artist I wanted to continue training while I was on business travel. I am so glad I decided to drop by Progressive Martial Arts Academy and train in their kenpo class and in their Brazilian Jujitsu class. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and welcomed me with open arms. It is a great school, with great instructors and awesome students that are very welcoming and ego free. I highly recommend Progressive Martial Arts if you want to learn practical self defense tactics or just want to be around great people while getting in some exercise. Thank you all for the hospitality and wonderful experience.

We looked at multiple martial arts locations. After asking around and having the free session, we settled on Progressive Martial Arts in Oak Ridge. Extremely pleased! The instructors are disciplined, hold students accountable but at the same time make training a lot of fun. My son has continued to enjoy karate, and joined the competition team. PMA has helped his self esteem, increased his sense of responsibility, helped him have an identity outside of his siblings and given him a repeated sense of accomplishment. To put it bluntly, join Progressive Martial Art and watch your kids grow immensely.

Progressive Martial Arts is AMAZING!!!! Our family is so happy with how we are treated and how our children learn so much at each lesson. The instructors are not just there to show you how to do Martial Arts they actually care about each student and their success. They set the foundation to believe in yourself and develop self defense. Our children have developed self defense, self control and confidence and they make learning a lot of fun. You are treated like family from the minute you walk in the door. We have been to two other martial arts schools and none of them compare to Progressive Martial Arts.

We love PMA! It provides a great community for our daughter to learn karate and many life skills. The staff is amazing with kids and they do a great job differentiating the sessions for all students to be challenged and successful.
