This place is not like the rest of the gyms in Amarillo. As soon as you step through those doors, you are family. The teaching in this gym is very intimate, and you will become quicker and stronger in a shorter period than if you are part of a different gym. The instructor Erik has patience that I have never seen before in anyone. The regulars that also attend are so kind and respectful, and so helpful to beginners. This is the place to go!

This is from the point of view of my son who’s been attending for about 3 months now: I love it very much I also enjoy fighting. I’m really glad that you’re my teacher you’re very nice and thank you for everything you’ve been teaching me and for teaching me how to defend myself.

This gym is a hidden gem, in River Road area. This gym is great for beginners and advanced and has family values. Erik the owner and coach has a lot of knowledge in striking and is always looking to evolve to bring high level striking to Amarillo. This gym treats everyone like family from day one and takes the time to know you. Plus you always get a week for free to try. Erik also has a lot of knowledge when it comes to his ground game and makes time to train under Justin Rice at Avant Garde. So it’s a well rounded gym.
