I have been training with coach Wes for a couple months and I have gained new skills and confidence in my abilities. I love coming to class and its always a welcoming vibe, if you've been considering taking a class I would start here.
Coaches Wes and Sarah Copeland really have set the standard for jiu jitsu on and off the mat. If you want to earn your stripes where it matters this is the place in Brown County!
Was in brownwood for the weekend vacation, was able to attend a morning an open mat though the morning class was not what I was expecting was still fun. The owner was very knowledgeable about combative a was able to work with me on stuff I have never down his patience was appreciated. The open mat that I was able to attend was on the smaller side but we got some good rolls in. If you are in the area passing through go check it out.
We were visiting family in Brownwood and brought our 10 year old daughter for a workout. The coaching was excellent and everyone was friendly including the parents. Great experience for our daughter, she learned 2 new takedowns and we’ll come back when we visit again.
18 year military vet, 9 year Brazilian jiujitsu brown belt. I’ve traveled and trained at a lot of places over the years and if you are going through or near Brownwood, you need to make the time to train with Wes. If you live near Brownwood, you should definitely train at this location. Wes has a very practical and profound outlook on Brazilian jiujitsu.
