After having been away from boxing training for a number of years, I stumbled upon Luis Valladares and LV Boxing in a small strip center. He took a 57-year old recreational boxer and helped me rediscover my love for the sport. In these last five years Luis has made LV not just a gym, but a place for kids, teens, adults, old guys, men and women to improve their fitness levels. It is welcoming, friendly, well-equipped and fun. I’ve brought friends with me to learn fundamentals and see why I keep coming back.

LV has helped teach my son confidence and discipline along with healthy habits and a skill that will last throughout his life. The coaches here are kind, supportive with the beginners and the right amount of tough and strict when it comes to the more advanced. Boxing is a wonderful sport for all ages of children and adults. I’ve seen children from the age of 4 to adults in their 60s at this facility. All getting in great workouts

LV Fitness Club was one of the very first boxing gyms I found when I was getting started in Corpus, and from day one they treated me like I was already part of the family. I walked in with zero experience and they took such good care of me, no judgment, just real coaching and real heart. I resonated with the owner from the jump, not only because we share the same first name, but because he reminds me so much of myself, and his wife honestly reminds me a lot of my own mom in the best way possible. They are easily some of the greatest people I have ever met. Even though I moved and can't make it to their classes anymore, they will forever be some of my closest friends, I genuinely see them as family at this point. What really stands out is how much the owner pours into this place, you can feel it the second you walk in, it's like he still runs it with the same fire as if he just opened the doors yesterday, and that kind of care is rare. If you're a parent thinking about enrolling your kid here, do it. They aren't just learning how to box, they're learning how to grow into mature, independent young men and women, how to defend themselves without needing to turn to violence, and how to carry real self control with them everywhere they go. LV Fitness Club is a special place run by even more special people, I can't recommend them enough

LV Boxing Fitness Academy doesn't treat you as a student, they treat you like family, amazing prices, a safe place to workout and practice boxing, no one judges you, The coaches are amazing, patient, caring, committed and they communicate 100%! Come out and try it out one day, this Academy is different!
