My son has been attending Fighting Chance for 3 years now. I’ve personally seen a difference in his metal health, and confidence level. Coach Ryan and Coach Ethan are very knowledgeable and continue to bring new things to the table.
Where to begin - my first experience with the Morales family, owners of Fighting Chance was in 2019/2020. This husband and wife power duo became an extension of family to me. Humble, confident, skilled, supportive, and genuine are some of the many words that I would use to describe them. Ryan and his son Ethan are diligent in studying the jiu-jitsu game. Whether you're searching for self-defense or sport jiu-jitsu experience - you'll find it here. Yes, there's a difference. I've had many coaches in my life in different places - South Texas, Chicago, Dallas but not many professors. Ryan and Ethan are professors. The team reflects the values that these two carry in their everyday life. Check them out!
I’ve been going here for about two years now. I have seen improvement in my self confidence and mental health as well. Ryan and Ethan are great coaches! Everyone is really supportive and helpful. Great place to train.
I have been attending Fighting Chance academy as well as my 5 year old son, and we really enjoy it. Ryan Morales (the instructor) has a way of teaching that is extraordinary and different from most places I have seen. He really emphasizes and draws deep into technique again and again assuring that you get the material implanted into your brain causing the skill to become second nature. Ryan continues to find new ways as well and repeating the same skill making sure we understand what we are learning. I can truly say The Fighting Chance academy is the place to go if you want to learn the proper skill of defense. Thank you Ryan Morales, Ethan Morales, Cody Wood, and Nick Mazz for all the great teachings.
Love this place!! Amazing atmosphere, great structured environment. Ryan is very patient while teaching a class full of kids! He is very knowledgeable and a competent teacher. He has great integrity. My boys (9&7) have excelled under his instruction in a few short months. Jujitsu has become a big part of our life. I can’t wait to see my boys continue to grow under Ryan’s guidance.
