First day here and my son LOVED the class! The instructors were amazing, super patient, and there were plenty of them to help my son feel comfortable and get started. They offer lots of classes for kids and even a class for us moms too! We had such a great first experience and are excited to come back!

Monarch Jiu Jitsu impressed us with the attentiveness, sense of camaraderie, and quality of instruction they exhibited from the moment we walked through the door. It took only one class for our kids to make the decision to begin their martial arts journey with this highly motivational group of Coaches and BJJ practitioners and we're confident our family has found "THE" preeminent facility to train at in NW San Antonio. We're beyond grateful that our kids will learn from the exceptional staff here as well as join the outstanding community of Monarch Jiu Jitsu.

After taking a long break from training since 2018, I finally stepped back on the mats and immediately remembered why I fell in love with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the first place. Additionally, my son took interest in Muay Thai and was immediately hooked after his first class. The vibe here is genuinely welcoming and positive. The instructors are excellent — knowledgeable, patient, and great at breaking things down for everyone. Nothing but respect, professionalism and a safe environment for all. The facility is immaculate, super clean, and well-maintained. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, this gym feels like the perfect fit. Best of all, there are zero egos on the mats — just good people focused on getting better together. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to train. Highly recommend!

Monarch Jiu Jitsu Academy is the absolute best. We sent our 2 young daughters here and they learned so much. The coaches are absolutely wonderful, I can’t say enough good about them. Super family friendly.

Great gym with great people. The classes are well organized and very informative, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and actually take the time to help you improve. Everyone here is welcoming and respectful, which makes training comfortable and motivating. Highly recommend Monarch MMA to anyone in San Antonio looking for quality training and a positive environment.
