I’ve been lifting for 10 years. I’ve been to gyms all around NC, SC, & Florida. Even out of country. This gym is a solid 10/10 for anyone from beginner to experienced. Whether that be bodybuilding, strongman, casual lifting, weight loss, etc. This gym has It all. Variety of equipment is very broad, cleanliness is top notch, atmosphere is great, employees are respectful and helpful, aesthetic is really cool. Any negative reviews are likely just personal vendettas or people who can’t follow simple gym rules. 10/10 facility, highly recommend.
Ignore the spam reviews! The gym owner is truly passionate about his business and takes great pride in the facility. He’s constantly upgrading and improving the equipment to ensure members have the best experience possible. I respect and support any business owner who sets high standards for their space and expects members to uphold them.
Love this gym! Super clean! Friendly staff. Best equipment you can find anywhere. You can tell the owner genuinely cares. Every small detail is considered. Love the selection of top notch equipment. Owner ads new equipment all the time. Such an amazing gym!
I’ve been going to the Fit Club for a few years now. Hands down the best gym in Danville. Whatever equipment you need, they seem to have multiple variations of it. I work, workout and come home so this gym has provided an outlet for me to meet those I now call my best friends. Everyone is welcoming in my experience. The management are on top of every situation…from making sure you are comfortable in the gym to making sure it’s cleaned throughout thoroughly. My bf lives in the Raleigh area and saves his gym time for coming to TFC. Danville needed this. I’m glad to call it my second home.
Do not recommend. I got banned my second week there for dropping dumbbells. Not even a warning. I was even alone at the gym at night (owner saw me on camera, creepy). I was told to call the owner directly when my barcode got rejected at the door. There are very few lockers and two run down showers that are nasty and have missing ceiling tiles above them (watch for falling cockroaches). It's literally worse than Planet Fitness. I’ve dropped dumbbells there and never got one warning.
