This place is absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. Moved here in June, wife is Navy so we have no friends or family. While she deployed I signed up and man I’m so glad I did. The atmosphere is second to none. My first day everyone made me feel extremely welcomed. For a guy with no friends or family around it certainly doesn’t feel that way when I go to class. If you want a true Muay Thai teacher than look no further. Coach Joe is such a kind gentle soul, you can see his passion for teaching every day, he’s fantastic with kids, very patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He’s been doing Muay Thai since he was 8. Competed all around the world and decided to open a gym in the states. So when I say you’re getting authentic Muay Thai training right here in Washington state, it’s a genuine as it gets. I’ve learned so much about myself, I feel myself getting stronger, technique getting better, and I’ve lost 30lbs since coming to this school. No matter what your experience level is this is the place to be!
If you are looking for Authentic Muay thai this is 100 % the right place to go. A welcoming atmosphere where everyone from 1st timer to pro fighters are treated with respect and recieve highly focused instruction and coaching. Ive trained since 2012 at multiple places in Washington , California and Japan. This is the best gym that ive ever been a part of. Its truly something special. Do yourself a favor and go check it out.
I have brought some girls I mentor to Southsound Martial arts and it is so empowering for them. The classes are fun and it’s great exercise. Everyone is very humble and respectful. 10 out of 10.
