This is a great dojo. Great coaches, serious teaching, great workouts, and great families. We are part of the kids program and it has been a wonderful experience.
Both of my boys love going to Juggernaut MMA. They’ve learned so much and their confidence has grown since they started. The coaches here are amazing and teach the kids not only MMA but respect and integrity.
My kiddos started here and it has been such an improvement on there attitudes. Jeff and his crew are wonderful and they really know how to work my with kiddos on the spectrum best decision I have made in a while.
This gym is the best around without question. I moved out of state a couple years ago and the one thing I miss is my juggernaut family. I’ve tried to find gyms around that have the same quality of training and camaraderie, but it simply doesn’t exist. Not only did I get in better shape and become more confident, I gained the kind of friends who will have my back no matter what. Did we challenge each other? Absolutely. Did it sound mean or harsh? 100%. That’s because we saw potential in each other and wanted to push ourselves and each other to be better. If you need gentle and soft encouragement, this isn’t the gym for you. If you want to be pushed to work hard and earn your place, this is the gym to do it. This gym isn’t about just physical strength, it’s just as much about mental strength. When they talk about family, they aren’t just spouting words. I could go to the gym and not give it my all one day and the Owner and other gym mates might give me a hard time about it, it may even sound mean but, if I called them that night needing something, they would all be there for me because that is part of their culture. It goes beyond the mats, but you have to be willing to work and earn your place. As far as cleanliness goes, this is one of the cleanest mma gyms I’ve been to. Most gyms don’t even sanitize their loaner gloves. The equipment is cleaned between uses and the mats are cleaned regularly. Those mats see literal blood, sweat and tears regularly and if you aren’t comfortable in an environment where those things are going to happen, you probably need to go check out planet fitness or maybe a donut shop. I have personally been to fights and watched the Owner and other coaches support their fighters. If you aren’t being supported, it’s likely because you aren’t ready to compete yet and you would have been told that. At fights and competitions, the energy is going to be put in to the students that have shown how hard they’re willing to work. You get out of it what you put into it. It’s not reasonable to expect you or your child to get all the attention when you aren’t willing to put in the work and effort as other students. Beginners always receive the coaching and attention they need as well as coached on proper form and technique. If you don’t learn these skills early on you will not be able to successfully fight or avoid injury. Their track record speaks for itself.
This is a review from someone who actually attends Juggernaut and not just making assumptions based off rumors and a website. My husband is a fighter who represents Juggernaut, my daughter has been training Muay Thai since she was 4 (she’s almost 7). There is no other local gym that my husband wouldn’t represent nor would we want our daughter to train at. The parents who are involved are dedicated, teach their kids about discipline and the importance of being supportive. We love being a part of juggernaut mma and wouldn’t recommend any other place.
