Freewind is the best Martial Arts School in the Basin. Sensei Gibson and his instructors have a very professional way with working with students either from the past or currently in the present. Consistent encouragement and positive attitudes towards students makes them excellent martial artists. If any student has troubles with any of their material. Either Sensei Gibson or one of the instructors will work with the student until they understand what it is they need to do and to reenforce their training to be the best they can be at Freewind. If you want to have an excellent training experience and learn from the best. I highly recommend Freewind Martial Arts to anyone who wants to create themselves to be a better person in and out of public, around friends and family, etc. Perseverance, Integrity, Indomitable Spirit, Courage, and Self discipline will make you a stronger person and an excellent martial artist and your friends and family will see it in them.

In my ten months of experience, I’ve always got attention from the instructors and had answers to all my questions. Especially Sensei Gibson is very open-minded and has great humor, which is why Freewind has been around for so long and has excellent retention of students. I feel fortunate to start in Freewind; I had a great foundation for my martial arts journey. I only have one constructive criticism: There could be more sparring for adults. Overall: Talented, attentive instructors Welcoming, family-friendly environment Cheap Satisfying classes(warm-up, stretch, technique, practice)

I started in 1984 at 7 years old. I earned my black belt when I was 13. Jack Gibson instilled a work ethic and discipline that helped me excel in other sports and life. I still think it's the best school for youth. It doesn't matter what your skill or ability level; you will take pride in seeing yourself get a little better each day.
