I’ve been training here at this gym for a few years and have loved it. I’ve learned so much and met a lot of amazing fighters here. Eddie and Lisa are both down to earth and are very experienced in this area. They’re always putting in the work and are very passionate about this sport. I truly recommend this training gym for anyone out there that wants to learn at their own pace. The guys here don’t make you feel uncomfortable nor do they judge anyone, they’re always willing to help out those who are wanting to expand their skills. If you’re looking for a gym to train look no further.
My kids have been going to UTC for approximately a year. Both my girls are in MMA. I just read a negative review and felt compelled to write something here. It is a family business which means there are kids, and an adorable dog. I love that about UTC. A family business knows how to treat another family. The lessons are wonderful. My kids have learned to defend themselves against bullies and are always smiling throughout the exercises. My youngest seems to really have blossomed as a fighter, which you would never guess to look at at her. She is cute as a button, and a tiny thing with a lot of power. It can be a year contract for the cheapest overall plan and I understand that can be a deterrent but it holds you accountable. My kids are getting plenty of exercise despite the winter weather. There are month to month plans and I've never showed up to locked doors. I've been coming twice a week for a year, so I don't think this is reviewer is credible. The owners exercise extraordinary kindness and guidance toward me and my girls. This place is a gem. Highly recommend.
I just started here. I used to do MMA in my early 20s. Coming back to it 10 years later and way fluffier than I used to be and this is honestly the best place I could've come to. The owners are so kind and also so bada**. Getting to train with folks that have been in the ufc is pretty amazing. They have been really easy going and seem to love what they do. Eddie has a smile on the whole time he's teaching and when he rolls. It makes it a really fun environment. I definitely embarrassed myself the first couple times in (and still am lol), but no one made me feel crappy about it. I'm glad to be back and glad to be working with these guys!
Such a great establishment ran by coaches Lisa and Eddie. Our son joined about a year and a half ago for kids MMA and was able to go up to jujitsu based on skill level. The way this kid has blossomed and found his confidence from this class is incredible. Lisa and Eddie are hands on, helpful, caring and run an incredible business teaching others. We are one, proud of our child and two, thankful we found United Training Center. We’re clients for as long as Washington allows us to be. Thank you all!
I have been training with Lisa for about 3 years now. She is patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I appreciate that our workouts are always unique and different from the last. She pushes me in a way that I can’t push myself. I have never seen results faster. You can tell that eddy and Lisa genuinely care about their clients well being in and out of the gym. I love supporting a local family run business. I would recommend 100%!
