I have been at Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Academy since I began grappling several years ago. The atmosphere and coaching have kept me at this gym since then. I have formed lifelong friendships through this sport and Legacy. I have also brought in coworkers to train, who went on to love the sport. In practice, you will find a solid mixture of experienced grapplers and beginners. The experienced grapplers are more than willing to show the new members the ropes during training and keep them safe during sparring. I highly recommend this gym.

My 5 year old grandson is thriving attending Legacy classes. He’s excited to learn new moves and his confidence is rising. I love that he checks himself in and is in charge of his success.

Great Experience for Kids and Families As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with Legacy Jiu Jitsu in Richland. The coaches are patient, professional, and excellent with kids—they focus on discipline, confidence, and respect just as much as technique. My child feels supported, challenged, and excited to come to class. The gym is clean, well-run, and has a very positive atmosphere. My family and I live in Illinois I'm a blue belt love to train so I wanted to find an open mat while home on vacation. When I reached out to legacy their staff were super friendly and invited my family and I to the Friday night open mat free of cost! When we got there they had complementary Gi for us to use the facilities are top notch and everything was extremely clean! My kids and I were able to roll around and work on a few things and then I sparred with a few of the members. I couldn't recommend legacy more if I lived out here I'd definitely train here!!

For years, my whole family and I have been going to this gym, and it has been amazing. We are all in the Muay Thai program and have moved up through the ranks, making friends who feel like family. The program has really helped us grow in the discipline. The tough training, along with the supportive atmosphere, has taught us dedication and hard work. Our instructors are very knowledgeable and always encourage us to do our best. The gym is always very clean, showing how much the management cares about keeping a safe and healthy place for everyone. Because of this, we can focus on our training without worrying about anything else. For me, the health benefits have been incredible. I have lost over 60 pounds since joining, thanks to the great workouts and constant motivation from the instructors and other members. My family's overall fitness and well-being have gotten so much better, making us stronger and healthier. In short, the Muay Thai gym has become a big part of our lives, giving us a supportive community, helping us grow in the discipline, and improving our health. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to get fit and improve themselves.
