In the few months I’ve been training here it’s become a home away from home. Professor Pete and Coach Stelly are incredibly gifted coaches and trainers. I immediately felt welcomed when I started training here, and consistently see improvements as they coach me. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to train combat sports.
Rugged is a great place to train for all levels. I’ve been going to rugged for a few months. Professor Pete, Coach Stelly, and Coach Jeremy have all been very encouraging! They are all great at teaching techniques and there’s a lot to learn from them. Every member that I have been able to spar with so far have only added to the great experience rugged has been so far. Super respectful, good people🙌💯 Rugged is the place to start learning grappling/striking skills in a friendly atmosphere full of people who want to improve together.
My oldest boys and I just started training here and it’s been such an awesome experience! The coaches are great, knowledgeable, helpful, etc.- they’re everything you’d want in your coaches! I’m 10+ years removed from training and I’ve not once ever felt like I’m being left behind. My boys and I absolutely love training here. Financially, there isn’t a gym in the area that will give you this amount of bang for your buck. My goal is for my whole family to train here forever.
This gym is more than just a place to train it’s a second home. From the moment we met the owners, we felt the aloha spirit. Aunty brings such a powerful energy, kind, welcoming, and full of wisdom. She treats every student like family, and that Ohana style care radiates through the entire gym. The training is top-notch, but what really sets this MMA gym apart is the heart. Mahalo to Aunty and the whole crew, we’re so grateful to have met them!
10/10. the world needs more Coach stelly's and professor Pete's. they are both so passionate, you can really tell they love what they do. They make everyone feel like family and The kids class is the best thing I've done for my boys . Highly recommend
