Great gym for body builders! this is not your typical "wellness center" this is a raw style type of gym. Straight iron 💪
I was a member at the 29 North location and never received any notice (via Glofox or email) that the location was closing. I later found out I had been transferred to another location without my consent. When I reached out to request a refund, my request was denied without much explanation. On top of that, the 29 North location was frequently unclean, and the restroom conditions were consistently poor. The communication and customer service throughout this process were very disappointing.
usually have a good experience at this gym and have been here several times when visiting charlottesville. My last experience attempting to get a day pass was awful. I bought it through glofox like I have multiple times before but was unable to get door access. After attempting to call the owner multiple times and waiting for an hour, I did not receive an answer. Usually a good experience and gym but this time I felt cheated out of my money and time. Will not be coming back.
Awesome gym! Filled with all the best old school bodybuilding equipment. A must visit gym if you take training seriously.
I was in town for the weekend and looking to train somewhere with access to a deadlift bar. Owner responded quickly to my questions about equipment and how to access a day pass. Fantastic pricing for the equipment at this location. A no frills gym in terms of aesthetics but has exactly what you need if you're looking to build strength. Would recommend to others and would definitely visit again when back in the area.
