Absolutely the best!! Coach J is amazing, my son loves everthing they do. Hard work out while keeping it fun. And learning how todo stuff correctly.
I was visiting the area and dropped in for a class. Coach Phil and his students were very welcoming. Coach Phil was very hands on and passionate when teachings the moves. I enjoyed learning the moves as well as the jiu Jitsu theory that coach Phil included. I couldn’t have had a better experience as a visitor and would love to come back.
I have been training in various martial arts throughout my life, and Coach Phil is by far one of the most knowledgeable and welcoming coaches I have ever met. Additionally, everybody who trains under him is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend White Rhino to everybody, whether it's your first day on the mat or you're a world champion.
Y‘all should know that training under Coach Phil is a huge opportunity! he is a caring awesome coach that is profoundly knowledgeable in several Martial arts. His teachings are simple yet completely well explained and efficient [where as the do work on the real world] and he makes it really fun to attend to the classes [not pg13]. Be prepared to become addicted to BJJ if this is your first experience. I wish he never left Vegas, So y’all should take advantage of having him there. I am a white belt 40 YO woman 9 months in and had the fortune to learn under him and be part of the White Rhino/Asylum family. After he left Vegas I have been roaming several schools and I compare what I have learned under Phil while rolling with other white&blue belts and I feel super advanced in comparison, I am proud of my techniques and at times I wonder if I am being too mean using pressure. Best coach ever, I mean it.
I recently competed in a BJJ tournament in Virginia against Professor Dunlap’s students. They were extremely well trained and disciplined on the mats!! Afterwards I had to opportunity to talk with them as is common in BJJ and they were such great people. Found out Professor Dunlap has multiple black belts in multiple disciplines. Hopefully I can make it down to Lexington Virginia and get some training sessions in with the White Rhino team!
