My son has had a great time at Cho’s. The instructors hold them accountable for their actions in class and at home/school, which is great for character building. The smiles when we go for belt testing and have success are priceless!
Cho’s Martial Arts is an outstanding activity for my 8 year old grandson. The instructors at this Family Training Center are well qualified to provide taekwondo skill building for young children through adulthood. They provide a welcoming educational experience while emphasizing discipline and encouragement for their students. We have been very pleased with our student’s progress in the program and we recommend Cho’s Family Training Center for new students beginning their journey.
Not only a place for building confidence, structure and respect, but also a place my daughter has made many friends and truly enjoys going to class even after close to 4 years.
Taking my son to Cho’s was the best thing I ever could of done for him!! The instructors are awesome and have been such a great influence to the growth I have seen in him. He absolutely loves it!! Thanks Master Will and Master Josh and the Cho’s family looking forward to my son’s black belt journey!
Martial arts gave my life new meaning — a sense of purpose during a time when I felt completely lost. In May of 1997, at 17 years old, my father had just joined a Cho’s Martial Arts school up the street. He encouraged me to try it, and from the moment I stepped onto the mat, everything changed. I’ve never looked back. I fell in love not just with the movement, but with the beauty, struggle, and transformation that martial arts demands. It was never about belts or recognition. It was about looking inward — about discovering who I was, who I could become, and learning to find comfort in the struggle that shapes us. Over the years, I’ve become deeply grateful for the journey: the friendships forged, the lessons learned, and the privilege of sharing this passion with so many others. Every person who walks through the door ready to train reminds me of where I started, and I see a piece of myself in each of them. Even after 28 years, every day still feels like Day 1. My body may protest more now, but my spirit remains focused, ready, and committed to giving my best. That’s the gift martial arts gave me — a reminder that growth never ends, and the path is always worth walking. Pilsung 🥋
