The previous owners were wonderful people who genuinely seemed to appreciate the members and fostered a great community. Unfortunately, the new management has completely ruined that vibe, and it honestly seems like the current owners are completely in over their heads. The communication between the owners and the members is abysmal. If a machine breaks down and you send a message about equipment needing repair, expect to be entirely ghosted. To add insult to injury, they’ve recently increased the membership prices. It makes zero sense to charge us more when they have actively been cutting gym programs. We are literally paying more for significantly less. If you want the best bang for your buck, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are several other gyms nearby that offer much better facilities and actually respect their paying members. Save your money.
I hate writing this because I was a long-time member and genuinely enjoyed my experience here for years—but since the new ownership took over last year, things have gone downhill fast. The biggest issue is the complete lack of communication. Membership options, pricing, and policies seem to change constantly with little to no notice. It feels like members are left in the dark, trying to figure things out as they go, which is frustrating when you’re paying a premium to be there. On top of that, the overall environment has taken a serious hit. The gym just isn’t as clean as it used to be. Equipment is frequently broken, and when it is available, it often doesn’t look like it’s being properly maintained or cleaned. For a place that markets itself as a high-quality fitness club, this is honestly unacceptable. It’s disappointing because this used to be a place I looked forward to going to. Now it feels disorganized, poorly managed, and not worth the price tag anymore. I’ve ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere to other local gyms that offer a much better value—both in terms of quality and overall environment. I really hope they can turn things around, but in its current state, I can’t recommend it.
Love BOXEN! it's a work-at-your-own-pace kinda place and really fun! If you love kickboxing and want more than just a heavy bag, this place is it! The owner John is really great and makes an effort to help everyone with whatever their fitness goals are.

Ive done gyms and Ive done clubs but there is no better place than going to Boxen. John and Cheryl truly care about helping you and making sure we get the best upon arrival. Ive been going there for 3 months and instantly became addicted. Everyone is very friendly there and make you feel right at home.
