THEORY!!! Where do I begin!?? The atmosphere is out of this world. I walked into the studio with little to no expectations (also scared/nervous/all of the above 😂) and walked out with a big smile, a full heart, and absolutely fascinated with the sport. The members are so welcoming and accepting. Our instructor (Levi) is so patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. It’s inspiring!! Class is always something I look forward to! So excited to see where this journey takes me! 10/10 recommend to any and all!
I have been training for some years now. I’ve bounced around (cross training) from gym to gym and have only found two gyms in the area that I actually like, Theory being one of them! Levi created such a welcoming gym that’s filled with actual good hearted people. Gyms are usually filled with big macho men that looks absolutely terrifying, which is very true for Theory as well (most of the men are giants compared to me) but they’re the biggest teddy bears ever! The nicest people in such a family like community. Nobody at Theory is out to hurt you, they’re a student trying to grow alongside with you. I’m happy I signed up and belong to another warming jiujitsu family!
I shadowed my husband (Ethan) at one of his classes the other day and after seeing what Jiu Jitsu was all about, I grew interested. Although I was nervous to start, I decided to go for it due to how welcoming everyone was, alongside some encouragement from Ethan. So far, attending class has been super rewarding and I’m glad to have pushed myself outside my comfort zone. I am very much looking forward to the journey ahead and if anyone else out there is looking to start their own journey, I would absolutely recommend they start at Theory! 😊
I had the pleasure of training at Theory jujitsu Studio for a Roy Dean seminar last year. This place is immaculate and very modern. Instructor levy is welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this jiu Jitsu training facility for the whole family.
Theory Jiu-Jitsu Studio is an absolutely clean facility, open to both men and women, catering to youth through adult age, and led by one of the most passionate instructors I've met to date. Levi Van Stappen didn't name his club Theory by accident. His methodical approach to the Gentle Art is inspiring as more instructors should follow his lead. His hospitality and graciousness to both me and my students is much appreciated and won't be forgotten. I can't say enough good things about Levi and Theory Jiu-Jitsu.
