Cool place. Not a big-box gym. I actually look forward to going to classes here! I take boxbag and the aerobics classes. It’s got an 80s vibe in a cool way. The owner cares about each member. I love it here!!!!

LOVE this place! Julie and Janay are amazing and I can’t recommend it enough, I joined a week ago and I’m beyond happy! The classes are great, amazing sense of community and they really know how to make you feel at ease immediately, Julie is super attentive to our posture to prevent any type of injury, and most of all it’s FUN!

I recently joined the Shoppe and it has been a lovely experience so far. All the instructors are motivating, caring, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I always look forward to class, and the community that has been built over the years is hard to beat. I leave class energized, happy, and sweaty! I started to see results after a couple weeks, and now after 3 months, I am the most fit and toned I have ever been!

The Shape Up Shoppe is the fun workout solution I didn’t know I needed! The owner, Julie, is full of energy and really takes the time to make sure you are getting the most out of each and every class. The instructors make injury prevention a priority! The classes are hard— but extremely fun and effective!! After three short months of joining the Shape Up Shoppe I already feel stronger, leaner, and healthier. I have always felt intimated in other gym and work out spaces, but the Shape Up Shoppe takes care to make sure that all skills levels feel welcome. The moment you step into the Shoppe you feel like you are a part of such a wonderful community of women. Love love love the Shape Up Shoppe!

I have witnessed The Shape Up Shoppe help women accomplish goals of all kinds. Women supporting women is alive and well in this all women’s gym!! The owner’s knowledge and passion for health, women’s fitness, and overall women’s wellness shows in the results! She (yes women owned) has been a cornerstone of Bay View for going on 44 years!! Classes are fun and effective and prices have remained modest. I’m so happy The Shape Up Shoppe survived the pandemic, I don’t know where we would be without it!!
