I've been training with Justin Jacobs since 2008 when he got posted in Cheyenne, he had just won the Pan Ams at brown belt (that's a big deal). I was a blue belt and we trained at McMahon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at that time and prepared for many competitions. He has always proudly been a student of Rafael Lavoto Sr. and Jr. Justin, has even defeated a former #5 ranked UFC Heavyweight Fighter (Big Country) in a submission grappling match. Justin has trained all over the world with some of the most famous and best grapplers. In addition to his black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, he also holds a black belt in Judo. There are only 3 other people with both belts in Wyoming, that I am aware of. I would wager most of his students don't know most of that, he is a very humble man. Thermopolis is lucky to have him!

From the very first class, all 4 of my kids learned a ton with hands-on training. All the teachers are excellent at breaking things down and working with each person individually as needed. The environment is respectful, helpful and highly effective training with a lot of variety. From the kids to adults class- this is the place to learn jiu jitsu! All levels are welcomed with open arms!
