I had amazing experience here. That was my first boxing training in my life. I had chance to meet the owner Ramon. He is very sweet and helpful! We came with our team and had our own training. Highly recommend! 🌟
Very disappointed with coming here. I signed up for the 7am class. I arrived 8mins after the class start time. Upon arrival I was greeted by one of the members and was told the trainer/owner had just left 5mins prior to me arriving and went to breakfast. The member contacted the owner and he said he would be at the boxing gym in 20mins. I ended up waiting until 8:05am. Almost a WHOLE HOUR and NO SHOW! It’s very unfortunate that I was not able to take a class here. I was looking forward to it because of the good reviews and just wanted to get a good workout in. I wasted my time and money as I’m from out of town, came on my last day of vacation, I’m here with my family, and I ubered to the boxing club. Very unprofessional! I would suggest someone always being at the gym or to check your class schedule to see if you have people coming into your gym. I signed up for the class through class pass.
Just finished my first boxing class and I loved it! The instructor worked with each of us at our own pace, which made the experience super comfortable and motivating. Happy to say I’m officially becoming a member!
Downtown Boxing is the real deal! The coaches are incredibly hands-on and truly invested in every person who walks through the doors. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, they take the time to correct your technique, push you past your limits, and make sure you’re constantly improving. The atmosphere is intense but welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their fighters. If you’re looking for a gym where the trainers are engaged, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do, Downtown Boxing is the place to be! Highly recommend.
Ive been going to this gym for over a year now after going to a few gyms around the area. From the first time I stepped in to speak with the owner I knew I would sign up. The culture is evident as soon as you step through the door, the various artwork on the wall showcasing the appreciation for different cultures, the fighters in the gym ranging from pros to beginners, the coaches passionate love for boxing is all there. I run a men’s mental health group and had the opportunity to throw a class there as apart of the programming for the year, and the gentleman who participated felt the profound impact of the boxing gym in just one session. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants not only a place to learn the ins and outs of boxing but also be apart of a culture that is serious about using the principles of boxing to translate into life skills . Shout out the owner Ramon for making such a wonderful environment.
