Best Muay Thai and boxing gym in town, with a growing BJJ program. I moved to Alpharetta a year ago and landed here after trying two other gyms. This was by far my favorite. I have trained for many years and like the range of skill levels they have. Great gym culture too. They have a former world champion Thai fighter (from Thailand) who coaches half the week and a very talented American coach for an awesome complimentary set of styles which is why I stayed. They will train to your level from first time beginner to fighter, no problem.
Went with one of my girl friends and we had a great time with coach Nich! He made the class very fun and easy to follow. I’d definitely recommend him for anyone looking to start out.
I trained at Bangkok Boxing Gym for two years and it was transformative in many ways. I got into the best shape of my life, built real confidence, and found a community that became one of the best parts of the experience. The staff were welcoming and my training partners were supportive. Unfortunately, I had to leave because the gym didn't seem equipped to work with older hobbyists. I was trained like a 22-year-old with unlimited energy, despite being way older than most members. Over time, this led to serious physical breakdown—including multiple heart-related scares—and I eventually had to discontinue my membership to protect my health. I didn't want to compete; I just wanted to train and have fun. If the programming had accommodated age-appropriate training for hobbyists, I'd likely still be there. I'm grateful for what I gained. Edit: the owner is right that this was a different facility. The facility I went to was located in Duluth.
My experience was good and I recommend that gym and I have two questions, how much do boxing classes cost and what payment options are there? And my second question is do they make boxers debut, for example, in amateur or professional?
Came in one Saturday morning to as a beginner boxer and nothing could have prepared me the workout I had next. Coach Craig (the boxing coach), put me a through a series of boxing workouts, techniques, and combos. I left knowing a strong amount of technique, and still left the class dripping in sweat. I left knowing where I was as a boxer and how much more I had to improve. I will 100% be coming back because Coach Craig is a real coach, and I have a lot more to learn
