I’ve been training for almost 4 years. I have been to a lot of gyms and most of them are very nice and welcoming. Exodus MAA is an entirely different level of friendly customer service and gratitude like no other. Professor Jason Tanaka is unbelievable and his knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is as elegant as you can find anywhere in the world. They greeted me and shook my hand as soon as I walked through the door. They ask me about my self and care about my experience level and why I chose to train with them. Every single person in their academy is friendly and heartwarming. If you are looking for the best possible experience to learn Brazilian Jiu jitsu as a beginner or a seasoned practitioner I assure you there is not a better place to go. Thank you Exodus for everything

Great place to train. Very responsive and welcoming. Outstanding rolls. In town for a week or so and wanted to get a few rolls in while in Kona. Clean mats, aloha spirit, great rolls and chill vibes. Couldn’t ask for more. Check it out.

If you're looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym with top-notch instruction and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. Jason is an excellent coach—knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and always making sure everyone is learning and improving. Whether you're brand new or experienced, you'll get quality training in a supportive environment. The community here is what really makes this gym special. No egos, just good people who push each other to be better. The space is clean, well-maintained, and has a great energy. Highly recommend checking it out!
