Two of my kids had been participating in Jiu Jitsu for about a year and a half in Japan and we had always intended to get the entire family involved. After moving to Hawaii from Japan. We did some searching and luckily we found K-Team. We were able to get the entire family of five enrolled with a schedule that worked for us because it aligned with my work schedule with an evening adult class following the kids class. Another great thing about K-Team is they have two locations one in Kaneohe near the Windward Mall and the other location on the Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base. My kids really love the kids class on the Marine Corps Base. Coach Jared is really good at keeping the kids motivated and engaged through the right balance of lessons mixed with competitive games. As a couple of white belts my wife and I have loved it so far. The coaches are passionate, easy to work with and happy to pass along their knowledge. It’s been great watching my family’s skills improve, especially the kids. I can’t wait to see where we will be in a few years. Reach out to K-Team for an introductory trial. If you're on MCBH stop by and check it out! I have trained at other gyms on island and K Team has some of the most competitive pricing. It doesn't matter if you have a background in martial arts or a complete beginner. K Team has an excellent kids program and trains many adults at varying levels of skills. The amount of attention that the coaches put in to developing the students that train with them is unmatched. My girlfriend and I love spending Saturday morning at open mat with the guys and families at K Team. I've been training with Coach Kimo and his staff for almost two years and I couldn't be happier!

If you live in this area, and want to make sure your kids have a chance to defend themselves and others, look no further then K-Team Kahaluu jiu jitsu! Kimo is an excellent instructor, and takes the time to breakdown each move so that the kids can comprehend, and perform them effectively and SAFELY! I would highly recommend you take advantage of the free trial, and watch your child transform into a confident, positive martial artist👍🏼
