First off- I am a bigger girl looking to lose weight, build some confidence and be able to defend myself if needed. In addition to those things I've really been struggling with stress and anger. I came to my first class a couple weeks ago (beginners muay thai) I felt comfortable from the beginning and everyone was kind. David was there and helped me learn some of the basics which was very helpful- now I'll be taking one on one classes with one of the other trainers (Joe)! They have a womens only class on Wednesday nights that I'm eager to try out as well. I got a great workout and also had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend Peoria Muay Thai and the trainers to friends and family!
Interned at Peoria for a summer and decided to join Muay Thai Peoria for 2 months. Very high quality and experienced coaches. People are friendly. They’d push you during sparring but make sure you learn and taken care of. Hands down best martial arts gym in Peoria. Highly recommend.
PMT has some of the most experienced and dedicated people you will meet in Muay Thai. My brother, son and myself are members and love the atmosphere, training regimen and training partners. Its not a chore or "routine" to workout here it has become a can't miss activity. If you want to take the next step and prove yourself in the ring then you're looking at the right place because the technique is next level. It truly is a 2nd family of mine.
The best and by far most experienced Muay Thai instructors/competitors in Peoria all coaching and training in a gym dedicated to Thaiboxing. I love being a part of this gym for the extremely competitive but very respectful and welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention that compared to other similar gyms in the area, the price is much more reasonable. Stop by and train with us!
I have been training Muay Thai for 10 years. The coaches at Peoria Muay Thai have the knowledge and the understanding of the art. They use thier holistic techniques to train everyone to improve thier skill level and overall fitness. But more importantly you aren't just a person in the gym, you become part of the family. I highly recommend training at Peoria Muay Thai, it really is more than just a gym.
