Great place to workout! Wonderful instructors. I am a newbie and the instructors modify for me and are super encouraging. I am an adult mom with injuries and I love how functional the classes are. Sensei Basche has created a wonderful community. I always have a fun time, feel pushed to be a better person and leave with more energy.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this karate program over the past four months. My daughter has grown so much—not just in her skills, but in her confidence and self-discipline. The instructors strike a great balance between being encouraging and structured. They set clear expectations while still making classes engaging and positive for the kids. We’ve especially noticed an increase in her confidence. She carries herself a little taller and is more willing to try new things. She’s also developing better focus and perseverance, which has carried over into other areas of her life. The week she earned her first belt stripe was the same week she reached a milestone at school. One of the instructors, Mary, told me that “success on the mat begets success off the mat,” and that they’ve seen it happen many times. we’re really seeing that in her. We’re grateful for the supportive environment they’ve created and would absolutely recommend this program to other families

My daughter won a free class from a raffle and she absolutely loved it. Everyone was so kind, open, helpful and welcoming. She was extremely nervous at first but everyone made her feel confident and by the end she was so glad she came. She was telling me all about how she wants to keep coming and learn more moves. Wonderful experience all around.

We thought we were just signing our daughter up for karate. Instead, we found confidence, community, and a place that truly shapes character. Our daughter joined the Little Tigers class (ages 4–6, three 30-minute classes a week), and during enrollment the studio offered a free month and uniform for parents to train as well. I ended up being the only parent who accepted—and it has been an incredible experience. Even though I could only attend two of the three weekly classes, the encouragement and constant positive reinforcement from the instructors quickly built my confidence. They truly show you that you are capable of more than you think—both physically and mentally. The training has also helped me mentally. Those focused workouts three times a week help organize my thoughts and make my days flow more smoothly. The most beautiful transformation, though, has been watching our four-year-old daughter grow. Every day she talks about and practices words like courtesy, modesty, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit—concepts many adults don't even fully understand yet. Since attending, she has developed more strength, courage, and confidence than we ever expected. Sensei, Ms. Mary, Mr. Sam, and Mr. Brian have created such an amazing environment for students to thrive. Their kindness, patience, and consistency show in every interaction. The lesson plans keep the kids engaged, learning, and having fun while also encouraging healthy habits outside of class—being kind, making thoughtful choices, and living a healthy lifestyle. We are incredibly grateful we took the step to join. Becoming part of this studio truly feels like becoming part of the Basche family.
