Coach Joe sold me boxing classes over the phone and then proceeded to no-show every single scheduled class. Not once. Not twice. Every time. He cancelled on me while I was already on my way, and the final cancellation happened when I was literally standing at the door. When it became obvious this was a complete waste of time, I requested a refund and he agreed to it. That refund never came. Months passed with excuse after excuse, and I was forced to file a chargeback with my bank for services not rendered just to get my money back. What’s worse? As I am writing this, I see multiple reviews describing the exact same experience—no-shows, cancellations, and refunds that never happen. This is clearly a pattern, not a one-off mistake. Everything is documented via text messages. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and train literally anywhere else.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR SESSIONS OVER THE PHONE. Coach Joe asked me for payment about three weeks ago, and because I trusted him and the reviews, I went through with it. We were meant to start about two weeks ago, and he cancelled on me at least four to five times on sessions HE SCHEDULED. I understand allergies, but canceling on me for being up late at night is not only unprofessional, but extremely disrespectful of my time. Asked for a refund and still has not even returned a call or text. If this further proceeds, I will be pursuing legal action.
I’m a self taught boxer of 2 years and I was looking for a gym so I could develop my skills and take myself to the next level. I got very lucky choosing this gym because on top of the family atmosphere, Coach Joe has taught me techniques that have instantly given me results in the ring and in life. He has helped me push myself and has trusted me enough to represent this gym in combat in only a couple months. I can’t recommend this place enough and if you find yourself wanting to be a boxer, this is the place to be!!! Change your life, go for it!!

The experience I’ve had thus far has been AMAZING. Coach Joe truly cares about every individual person that walks in and out of that gym. I truly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to ACHIEVE GOALS. Come be a part of the team, you won’t regret it!
