I’ve been training one year with Burrell Boxing and am very happy with the results. Scott is an excellent trainer that understands my fitness and personal goals and works with me on achieving them. I actually look forward to training and feel amazing after each session! Thank you Scott for motivating me!
Scott is the best. We started training together about a year and a half ago, which was right after I had my second baby. From day 1, he challenged me while being incredibly supportive and understanding, gradually stepping up our workouts until I was back in pre-baby shape. Because of Scott, I’m now in the best shape of my life and I have a new love of boxing. Scott has made learning how to box so much fun and it’s been extremely rewarding for me, both physically and mentally. Scott is a great coach, always teaching and building the skills, strength, and confidence needed to get you to the next level. I’ve recently started sparring a bit and I’m really looking forward to what’s to come. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
The Burrell twins are a true treasure. I started a little over two years ago working with Dean on again off again, and after he moved out to LA I picked back up with Scott. These two will bring out the fighter in you, and Scott has brought me to a place that I feel like my most confident and powerful self while boxing. He encouraged me to start sparring and I went into it feeling more than prepared. Whenever I go into a session, I know I’m going to be worked to my max, but I feel encouraged, supported, and pushed to be my absolute best. Each time I leave session I feel better than when I walked in. I’m really grateful to have this intense, yet rewarding training!
7 years ago, a couple of friends who had been training with Scott encouraged me to start training as well. Despite being very overweight at the time (246.6lbs at 5’7”) they were confident that Scott could whip me into shape. 3 mornings a week training with Scott quickly started yielding results...and we were having a lot of fun in the process. It started out strictly as exercise but I was infected with the boxing bug and was amazed to find out that even at my age (38 at the time) and older compete at amateur level. I asked Scott to let me know if I ever got to the point where he felt I would be good enough to compete as well. He was quick to tell me skills-wise he felt I was almost there but I needed to get my weight down to 170 before he would be comfortable with me getting in the ring for competition. At this point I had already lost 50 lbs...so what was another 25lbs or so? It only motivated me more. I worked harder and within a couple more months had reached the 170 mark. Despite losing my first amateur fight I felt the victory that day was a 39 year old man losing 76.6lbs to be able even be able to get the chance. I have Scott to thank for that victory...and have won all of my fights since and I look forward to many more. Whether you get the itch like me to compete or if you just want to be in the best shape of your life while having fun you couldn’t find anyone better than Scott Burrell.
Scott has been my trainer since June... and he is the nicest Trainer I ever had. He is very professional and I am learning a lot, but he can also be lot of fun! Thanks to him I have a real passion for boxing and I love it so much! Just try Boxing with him and you’ll understand how good it is!!! 👍
