I recently started going here, and as expected when diving headfirst into a higher volume, new training regimen experienced a tendon issue in my foot. Here is where this gym stands out! I mentioned this issue and the gym gave me a complimentary session with the strength guy, Mark Sayer. Meeting with him went extremely well. He listened to what I had to say, watched me complete an assortment of related movements and suggested a regimen to strengthen the appropriate parts of my leg. He gave a list of exercises to try first to narrow it down instead of providing an overwhelming amount of lifts. Thanks to this calculated approach I've surprisingly quickly (knock on wood) recovered from the issue and am back on the mat training Muay Thai. The knowledge present within these 4 walls and the specialized equipment to put that knowledge to practice sets this gym apart from others I've been to, I'm very happy to have met Mark and the team at Diamond Heart!

DiamondHeart and the culture the owner, Gavin, has cultivated is excellent. I practice Muay Thai, and the individual attention they give each practitioner on and off the mat is superb– special shout-out to coaches Jesse and Diego! But all of his coaches deserve a dab, they’re like the Wu-Tang Clan - pick your style. Diego - the happiest guy in the gym - improves your Muay Thai all the while keeping it lighthearted, and you will leave the gym smiling. Jesse - a technical practitioner, if you get his nod of approval, that’ll make you feel good for a long while. Nhi - keeps it merry, keeps it technical, and her fight style is something to behold. Gabe - another technical practitioner, he’s the one who turned my roundhouse kick upside down. Thanks, Gabe. And the rest of the clan that I’ve not spent much time with: Alex, Marianne, Mark, Michael, and Tony - they’ve only grown the legend of the heart….Diamondheart. Along with the Muay Thai coaches, Diamondheart supports a holistic approach to martial arts, providing a gym that supports strength, endurance, and longevity. (Shout out to Hannah) I am in the best shape of my life, and that’s because of consistency, and the consistency comes from both the Diamondheart community and me.

DiamondHeart hosted an incredible smoker. It was well run, safe, fun and a highly well executed production overall. As a woman, I’ve always felt safe at DiamondHeart. Specs was an awesome announcer. Gavin was a great host. The whole DiamondHeart team was very professional, and they hired a great referee company. Shoutout fighter Peter Kuo!

I started training at DiamondHeart recently after relocating to the area. I’d trained Muay Thai at one other gym for a few years, so coming to a new space was a bit daunting but Gavin and the team were extremely friendly and welcoming. After just one session I knew that DiamondHeart was a fantastic gym with a great community - it’s a huge space, well organised, and has excellent coaches. Highly recommend checking it out!

Started my martial arts journey here about a month ago after being absent to sports for some years. All I can say is, what an amazing place! Everybody is so welcoming and respectful. Especially as a beginner I was very nervous but the community here is amazing. It truly feels like a third place. Started out with Muay Thai and it didn’t take long for me to try out BJJ, boxing, kettlebells and yoga since they have a ton of classes available for everything at all times. Also you can try all the different classes during the free trial week which is great. Gym, mats and showers are always clean and in very good shape.
