Worst costumer service .. this guy is so rude and cancelled my gym membership for no reason .. they didn't even let me no horrible service I would give 0 starts if its possible Owner need fire this guy very rude person 0 communication

Used some weights after a workout class not knowing it would be a big deal. Sketchy guy at the front desk with the yellow glasses yelled at me for trying to “sneak in” a workout. Read the terrible reviews and didn’t imagine it could be that bad. Sadly, it’s much worse.

I was really disappointed with my experience, mainly due to the front desk staff, I came in asking about a trial or try-out since I work in the neighborhood and wanted to see if this gym would be a good fit before committing. Instead of being flexible or welcoming, the staff was rude and dismissive, with no willingness to help or explain options. For a gym in a local community, I expected a more professional and friendly attitude—especially toward potential members who work nearby. Unfortunately, the interaction alone was enough to turn me off from joining. Customer service matters, and this experience missed the mark. I will let all my friends know and make sure they cancel their membership as well.

I love this wonderful neighborhood gym! It's a smaller gym but has everything you need and is clean and well maintained. Despite the size you never have to wait for machines and it's never crowded. There is a range of group fitness classes (spin class, HIIT) with excellent instructors. Saying hi to the owner, Carlton, on my way in always brightens my day because he makes a point to get to know each of the members and it really makes you feel at home. He really cares about ensuring all members have a great experience. Such a difference compared to the other big corporate gyms I've been to. Highly recommend!

I’m very sorry to share that despite having a well maintained facility with a friendly atmosphere, I cannot recommend signing a membership contract with Elite Fitness. It is an iron clad contract that makes it unreasonably difficult to cancel - even outside of the original annual timeline. They will ‘auto renew’ your contract without your permission and continue to charge you without remorse or understanding why that might be considered unreasonable and strange. I have not lived in the neighborhood since August of 2021, and it was only this week that I was finally able to cancel my membership - despite multiple requests to do so. This entire issue has cost me over $1,000 in unused gym fees - most notably $300 of that coming from months post the ‘auto renewal’ period that I was never consulted about nor approved. I’m sorry. It’s a well maintained space. But I cannot recommend it unless you are a fan of local businesses trapping customers into unreasonable payments with unreasonable contracts. You are more likely to be tempted into a small claims court than you might be comfortable with doing business with Elite Fitness.
