Terrible experience. There were more than 10 of us waiting for the instructor. Shortly after, the girl at the front desk announced that he was never going to show up. They clearly don’t care about boxing, and most importantly, they don’t respect people’s time. I strongly recommend looking into other options in the area. It was full of people who were there for the first time, and they all left disappointed. I will never go back there again.

I had a very disappointing experience with the management of this gym. When I first signed up for my membership, I forgot my credit card and paid using Apple Pay. After that, the owner kept insisting that I bring my credit card. This happened during the very first week of my membership. Later, on a day when I was planning to attend a class, my class was canceled before I even arrived. When I asked why, I was told that if I didn’t bring my credit card, I wouldn’t be able to attend the class — even though I had already paid. Around that time I got sick and was unable to attend classes for about 10 days. When I later went on the website to book a class, I discovered that my membership had been canceled without my knowledge. When I asked about it, the owner told me that I never had a membership and that I only paid for gym access. Then changed, he said I had purchased 8 classes and already used all of them. This is simply not true. Our messages clearly show that I purchased a package of 12 classes, and I had not used them all — especially because I had been sick. He also claimed that I had used 11 classes, but the number he was referring to included classes from the very first day I ever attended the gym. My first day at the gym was February 2, and I purchased the class package on February 20. Anyone can easily see by the dates that I did not even use eight classes. Despite showing him our written conversations and explaining the dates, the situation was made unnecessarily complicated and difficult. In the end, I was told that I could no longer come to the club. I have never experienced anything like this before. It’s very unfortunate because this was the first time in a long time that I actually felt happy and motivated to work out, and I was very satisfied with the trainers and the classes. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled by the owner made it impossible for me to continue. What made the situation even more disturbing was being told that their lawyer might take legal action against me. I honestly have no idea on what grounds, since I am simply a paying customer who tried to clarify a misunderstanding. Hearing something like that in a situation like this was very disappointing and completely unnecessary. Despite already paying for my membership and classes, my membership was canceled and I was not able to use the sessions I paid for. A refund was mentioned at one point, but it was never actually processed. On top of that, I was told not to return to the gym, which prevented me from using the services I had already paid for. Despite this, no refund was issued. At this point, I feel genuinely misled by the way the membership and promotional offers were presented. That being said, I want to be fair, the trainers at this gym are amazing. They are professional, kind, and truly good at what they do. My issue is not with them at all. The problem is with the owner. I strongly believe they need a proper customer service system or representative in place, because the way this situation was handled is not acceptable. Unfortunately, I did not feel heard or supported throughout this process. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this place. Update: the owner has threatened with legal action for writing this review. He’s actually insane. Not only did I get scammed by getting charged for one month, “claiming that I signed up for a three-month membership” and not being able to go back or even finish the classes I paid for, he’s also being hostile right now.

FNT is easily the best boxing gym in the area. I’ve learned more there over the past six months than I have in my 4 years of boxing. Instructors are all ready to answer questions, beginner and advanced friendly, and know how to get a sweat on through a class. Unlike other gyms I’ve been a part of, FNT is community based, it’s easy to meet others and join their events if you want. Recommend for first timers, they have all the gear you need, and will help you set up, as well as experienced boxers, their ring work and sparring classes are great.
