I honestly can’t think of giving anything less than 5 stars to Apex Martial Arts. This place is truly a blessing for the Apex community. Beyond the excellent martial arts training, what stands out the most is the kindness, patience, and dedication of the coaches. They genuinely care about every student’s growth, confidence, and well-being. Huge shout out to Donnie (Don) who shows what a leadership skill is. In all my experiences with similar institutions, I have rarely come across such humble, supportive, and inspiring mentors. The environment is welcoming, disciplined, and incredibly positive for both kids and adults. Highly recommend Apex Martial Arts to anyone looking not just for martial arts training, but for a place that builds character, confidence, and community. I would always love to come back!!
This is easily one of the best gyms you could ask for. I’ve trained at multiple places, including some run by active pro fighters who sparred with members, and this one stands out right away. The owner, Don, is incredibly down-to-earth and runs the place with zero ego, which really sets the tone for the whole gym. Instructor Jen is everything you could ask for in a gym—she focuses on real-life scenarios and practical techniques that actually work. Her teaching is rooted in real fighting and competition experience. I really appreciate how the classes strike a balance between building solid technique and giving you the freedom to adapt techniques to what actually works for you, whether your goals are fitness, self-defense, or competition.
Don and his whole team are great! My sons loved the kickboxing classes, support, and sense of community at Apex Martial Arts Center! I can not recommend this place highly enough!
It's hard to find an authentic martial arts gym like ApexMAC that truly respects the science, art and sport behind martial arts. No matter your level (from beginner to pro), the owner Don and all the trainers make sure you are safe, while also pushing you to your limit and beyond. The gym itself is clean and spacious, never feels too crowded and has everything you need (ring, bags, mats...). Couldn't recommend it enough!! Also, if you're interested in personal training, Zion is the best.
An incredible gym with a truly welcoming atmosphere! I joined together with my son, and the experience has been fantastic from day one. The coaches are skilled, friendly, and passionate about teaching. Apex Martial Arts Centre offers Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and BJJ all under one roof. Great people, great training, and a place that truly feels like a community. Highly recommended!
