Overall it’s okay. The full set of Atlantis machines are amazing for those trying to build muscle however there are no dedicated squat racks so those squaring will fell very Crowded lastly the cable machine in the gym is very very old and there is only one so it’s never open in peak hours and also the weights on the cable machine are very un accurate in a few of the Weight stacks don’t have the waitlisted on them, which can be very annoying Despite this, the staff at the gym is very nice and the gym is very clean The staff is always cleaning it, although there are some old machines and amenities, you can still get a great work out here, but the biggest problem with the gym is the Parking lot it is covered in potholes and there’s only one exit road, which is hard to find
Not happy at all. We loved the therapy pool and try to take our son to it because it is so nice and warm. The lap pool is way to cold for his skin and hurts him because its too cold. This Y needs to get their act together and get enough lifeguards because the therapy pool is hardly ever open now. When I called to find out if it was open I was told yes from 4-8:45pm. We traveled over 30 mins away to go to the therapy pool just to get changed and start goinf in to be told it was being closed. Its not right don't tell people that its gonna be open til close and have it on the white board it will open til close to not have it open. If a lifeguard doesn't show up call one in. We wasted fuel to go there to be turned away. Horrible management for sure. What you are doing isn't working and needs to be fixed asap or eventually you will be made to close for bad managing the place.
If you’re thinking about signing up specifically to use the therapy pool, don’t bother, save your money. The schedule will say it’s available, but you’ll drive all the way there and walk in only to find out it’s closed. They keep saying they’re “trying to rectify it,” but nothing actually changes—it just keeps dragging on with no real improvement. They’ll post updated schedules, but you still can’t follow them because they’re not accurate. Lifeguards were distracted, sometimes eating on duty, trying to watch multiple pools at once, and not enforcing rules—especially with kids. It makes you wonder why there are rules at all if no one is going to follow or enforce them. The posted therapy pool rules make about as much sense as everything else—there, but not actually followed. At this point, it’s completely day-to-day whether they even have a lifeguard or the pool is usable. Why have a schedule if it can’t be relied on? This place has become a huge disappointment. If I could give it negative stars, I would.
One of the worst gyms I’ve been to equipment and cleanliness wise, but they’re open an hour longer on Fridays than every other ymca. The woman at the front desk with blonde hair and glasses is not a pleasant person to greet guests. It was very evident she’s very condescending and lacks basic respect. Most employees have been kind and respectful. But she needs some more training.
Very misleading on billing. Got charged 2 times in 8 days. The process for terminating a membership is a pain. Terminating requires 30 day notice which actually means paying another month. Facilities are outdated, unclean, and unsafe in many areas. The parking lot is in shambles, it is basically gravel in a lot of spaces. Most of the “perks” of the facilities are out of order most of the time. The time slots for parts of the facility are inconvenient. Other YMCA locations are significantly better in about every way. I would recommend going anywhere but here.
