Impact Jiu Jitsu Hillsboro has been a great gym to train at. After moving from another location, we decided to give this gym a try, and I’m really glad we did. We have been training here for a few months, and we couldn’t be happier with the youth coaches and the curriculum they teach. There are always enough coaches on the mats during practice to ensure every student gets quality instruction and support when they’re struggling. My son’s overall game has improved drastically since starting here. The adult program is pretty rad too, they have multiple class times per day, GI and No Gi as well as kickboxing! One thing that really stands out is the level of care they show for their students—there has been a coach present at every tournament my son has competed in. If you’re looking for a great place to train, look no further.
If you need a place to train with couches that really help I would come here. Also people I train with are really helpful and supportive. People tend to be really safe while rolling and coaches are generally vocal about keeping the rolls respectful. Be mindful and remember it is a fighting sport you will be trying to hurt each other so don’t expect not to get hit or hurt.
I highly recommend this gym. The coaches are very good and the staff/owners are pretty nice people. The people who practice there are also very friendly and the facility is pretty clean.
This gym is awesome! Well cared for, clean, organized and very welcoming. Anna & Richard are both excellent owners/coaches, they are kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I was excited to take my first class here recently - the ladies BJJ class was really fun and I look forward to attending more of their other classes here in the future!
Ive been doing BJJ and Kickboxing here for about 3 months and its been amazing the coaches here are welcoming and very knowledgable it feels more like a family than anything especially if your in with the kickboxing crowd (shoutout to coach sean).
