I am so thankful that my family and I found the Sonrise Boxing family. All of the coaches are very welcoming and caring while sharing their knowledge and passion for boxing in a safe environment. If you or your child are looking for somewhere to learn boxing, from beginners all the way up to competitive boxing, or are just looking for a great, challenging workout in a supportive community, I can't recommend Sonrise Boxing T.E.A.M. enough. Thank you guys!

Sonrise Boxing is a welcoming place for everyone. It is a positive space that teaches the fundamentals (and beyond) of boxing, and also discipline, hard work, dedication, and respecting and loving your peers. Kimo and his coaches care deeply about the kids they coach and those of us who are older and want to learn and grow and challenge our bodies’ limits and mental strength. Sonrise Boxing is a non-profit organization and there’s no pressure whatsoever to be affiliated with Sonrise Church. I would recommend Sonrise Boxing to kids and adults who want an incredible workout and to be around a loving community. Come check it out! They’re state champs!

This gym is a Christian based gym located on the top floor of a church that makes any new member feel welcomed with open arms. It’s not like other boxing gyms where other members or even staff look at you like another customer or simply as an inexperienced boxer not worth their time. If your looking to learn the basics of boxing, want a killer workout, or even want to get into competitive boxing this is the gym for you! I’ve been different gyms around Portland and none compare to the experience I have had here at Sunrise Boxing.
