Combat Sports is hands-down the best boxing gym in Salem. The coaching is elite—clear instruction, real mitt work, and constant attention to form and footwork. The vibe is welcoming but focused: beginners get patient guidance, advanced boxers get pushed. The facility is clean, the bags and ring are in great shape, and classes run on time (huge plus). After a few weeks my conditioning, defense, and confidence jumped noticeably. I also love the community—no egos, just people getting better together. If you’re looking for legit boxing training and a supportive environment, Combat Sports is the spot.

Daniel Priebe is an outstanding teacher, his skills and care for the students (the little ones and older ones) are exemplary. The members of the BJJ team have a good bond of friendship and respect for one another. The new building is excellent! Having trained in Brazil for many years, I can say this school is top-notch.
