Zach, Jose, and Mike are excellent instructors. They promote community, health, and technique above all. Whether a beginner or an experienced athlete, you will enjoy your time at Finishers and come away with new knowledge.
GREAT GYM for training, competition, striking, etc… Been training here for a month and some change, and the instructors and people at this location are a 11/10, really knowledgeable, and friendly. I’ve been training for almost 2 years and I love the way they teach and explain everything here. I 100% recommend this gym for anyone looking to get started or to level up your training and get to competition.
I started at finishers north when they first opened and let me tell you, from day one until now not only is it one of the best gyms ive trained at but at some point it becomes a second family. Zach and his instructors are helpful and as someone who has a hard time remembering stuff they are able to break down moves to where anyone can understand them. I came from power lifting and they showed me how to use my previous sports abilities to my advantage in bjj. I 10/10 recommend even if your just looking for something to get healthy and get your body going. This is the place to be
Recently moved back to the area after living in Phoenix. When I left there weren’t any quality jiu-jitsu/mma gyms in the area. Luckily to my surprise, a couple months after I moved back. Finishers North opened up. You will not find a better group of people, atmosphere or quality of instruction. The head coach and owner Zach Maslany has some of the top jiu-jitsu practitioners in the world training at 10th Planet Finishers. You will not find a better spot to train with world class instruction. It’s clear Zach has a passion for the sport and that comes through in his teaching. Not only is the instruction top tier, but it is an amazing environment where everyone is welcome. Right from the start everyone was welcoming and supportive. Whether you are trying to learn self defense, learn world class jiu-jitsu, or just have a fun way to get in shape, you can’t go wrong with finishers. It’s a great way to feel a sense of camaraderie and community, something I found hard to find after getting out of the army, stop by you won’t regret it!
