Dropped in from out of town for a Saturday class. Academy was very welcoming. We did a solid warmup, then Professor Edwin went through some technical guard passes and some solid drilling. Academy was clean, mats were clean. Will definitely drop in again.
I’ve been training here for about two weeks now and I’m really enjoying it (adult classes). As someone new to Jiu Jitsu, I’ve found the environment to be incredibly welcoming and supportive. The instructors do a great job not only demonstrating techniques clearly but also breaking down why they work, which has been really helpful for my learning. The atmosphere is positive and respectful and I’ve never felt uncomfortable asking basic questions. Special shout-out to the purple belts, several of them have gone above and beyond to help me get some of the fundamentals down, and I truly appreciate them taking time from their own training to help me. That kind of encouragement makes a big difference when just starting out. The rolls are intense and challenging, but always controlled and disciplined, which is something I specifically wanted in a training environment for safety reasons.
I put a set of twins in RGP they both tried it one didn't like and one blossomed, like everything in life you get out what you put in. The staff /instructors are fantastic they actually instruct, and help you understand why you're training a certain way. No power trips. They seem to genuinely love and promote the sport properly. Highly recommend.
If you want your son or daughter to learn the art of ju jitsu from amazing teachers this is the place to go. They will also learn discipline and respect along with building great friendships and teamwork. Can't say enough about this school. My son looks forward to going every session.
