This gym is unprofessional! My son didn’t have any gear for his fight and the coach never helped whatsoever in getting him prepared or asked how he did. That coach went as far as trying to provoke a fight with my husband before kicking us both out. We went to many gyms and never experienced a coach with such anger issues. I am very disappointed.
I’ve been at Turner’s Boxing Club for nearly 3 months now, and it’s been an awesome experience. I’m 14 y/o and still have a lot to learn, but the coaches here have been helping me improve a lot day by day. One thing I’ve learned from boxing is that nothing will ever be handed to you and you must be willing to put in the effort. The coaches here will always keep pushing you to your limits until you succeed. Highly recommend 👍👍👍
Amazing coach, who happens to also be the owner. Did a 1 on 1 session with him and it was probably the best experience I have had with regards to training. I played sports in high school and I am currently a sports medicine physician. Will strongly recommend if you actually want to learn the fundamentals of boxing.
This is the best boxing gym in Frederick, I’ve been at several different clubs so far and turners is the best club I’ve been too. There’s plenty of room and lots of different types of punching bags, and weight lifting equipment. Also there is boxing equipment you can buy at the gym. the coaches are patient and very knowledgeable about the art of boxing. I highly recommend this gym
Excellent boxing club! Coaches really care about working with the kids to make sure they are all meeting their goals. Coach Troy is wonderful with my son and always gives me tips on what we need to work on at home. We have had a really positive experience since coming to this gym in 07/2023. Coach Turner works with my son individually which takes a lot of time and patience. Here we are almost 1 year later and still working with Coach Turner and Coach Troy! 🎉
