Memphis Judo & Jiu Jitsu is an absolutely top notch gym and training center. I was in Memphis for a two week work trip, I tried several gyms, and this place blew them all away. Especially their boxing program. I've boxed for 20 years, in three states, with some great coaches, including an Olympic Gold Medalist. Coach Bot (and his affiliate gym, Bot's Boxing) is among the best. Great coaches and gym staff, super accommodating and very reasonable pricing, especially law enforcement friendly. 10/10, 100% will train again next time I'm in town, and definitely recommend.

I stopped to train here while visiting Memphis and had a wonderful experience! The culture was welcoming and relaxed. It’s very beginner-friendly, while also having a significant amount of upper belts to get great rolls with. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Memphis!

Just want to say if you live in the Memphis area and you wanna learn any of what they have to offer, go for it. You're doing yourself a disservice by not showing up here. Same thing goes for any drop ins, I know it's nerve wrecking going into another gym as a white belt or new comer of any; but please check it out. Everyone is welcoming and open to have anyone stop in and train. Had Tyler for one of the BJJ classes and was very welcoming, even though I was from another gym. Plus the facility is amazing. Highly, highly recommend this gym.

I'm in Memphis temporarily and needed a local gym to train Muay Thai. I dropped in to Memphis Judo & Jiu Jitsu and have nothing but good things to say. The owner, Brooke, was super friendly and welcoming. The facility is huge with plenty of mat space. The coaches have a ton of experience, they're active competitors, and the instruction is top notch. It's been an honor and pleasure to train and learn from this crew. If I was a Memphis local, this would definitely be my home gym. Highly recommended. Memphis Judo & Jiu-Jitsu has been an amazing experience for our family! Both of my daughters—ages 12 and 8—absolutely love their time here. The instructors are incredibly patient, positive, and skilled at working with kids of different ages and experience levels. They create a fun and structured environment where my girls are not only learning self-defense and discipline but also building confidence, focus, and respect. It’s clear that the coaches genuinely care about each child’s growth—both on and off the mat. I’ve seen such a boost in my daughters’ self-esteem and motivation since starting here. If you're looking for a place that combines top-notch martial arts training with a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for kids, this is it. Highly recommend!
