I LOVE XCITE I started off with absolute zero experience beyond basement brawls with my family, and I am happy to say I’ve made a new family here. From the moment I walked in, all the coaches and members have made me feel welcomed, comfortable, safe, and encouraged. As a small woman, it can be scary to try combat sports with new people, but the etiquette and atmosphere here is amazing. I’ve been able to learn so much from Coaches Carson and Michael and every single person that spars with me, not only technical skills but also mentality. Everyone really helps you push yourself and improve. Jamie and Carson are awesome people, and I’m happy to support such a great family!
In a bid to stay young and have a workout plan through the winter, I decided to join Xcite MMA shortly after my 40th birthday. The work, coaching, and camaraderie amongst the other athletes there are exactly what I was looking for. I love Carson's approach in being a true instructor - if you ever get a chance to spar with him, don't hesitate - he knows just how to match your skill level and bring you along with clear guidance and encouragement.
I contemplated MMA gyms for about a month before we pulled the trigger for our 7 year old we decided on Xcite back in July and not only has it been a really great experience so far he has gotten stronger and more confident. He’s the 4th kid of mine I’ve put in youth programs like this and it’s been one of the best I’ve been around. Highly recommend for young athletes!
Excite MMA is the best gym to train MMA. It is great for anyone even if you have no experience in combat sports. Coach Carson is an excellent instructor, and is super knowledgeable.
